We know how challenging these last two years have been for everyone.
But, despite the ongoing saga of COVID and all its variants, you have continued to step up in support of children and families impacted by foster care in our community.
Since the pandemic started, you have been a vital part of helping us procure critical items through the My NeighbOR program, supporting over 200 children in foster care plus their families (both foster and those reunifying). That’s amazing!
Your generosity helps us host several Explore Fostering events where those interested in becoming foster parents listen to veteran caregivers talk about their journey. Almost half of the attendees we’ve had have committed to taking the next step toward fostering! Wow!
And your support helps bring joy to children and youth through Royal Family Kids and Teen Reach Adventure Camps, programs designed specifically for the unique behavioral needs of children and youth in foster care, creating an environment for campers to feel safe, have fun, and be unconditionally loved. We had to adjust to virtual and day camp formats the last two years, so we are looking forward to bringing back overnight camps in 2022!
